Project Scope
The project involves:
- Measured Surveys: Our in-house, highly trained surveyors will conduct detailed surveys at each WDH property to ensure accurate measurements. This guarantees that the new fire doors fit perfectly with the door frames, maximizing fire protection.
- Collaboration with Solidcor: We are partnering with Solidcor, a leading fire door manufacturer, to deliver this project on time and in strict accordance with WDH’s schedule. Solidcor’s expertise and certification in fire door design and supply are unmatched across the UK.
Solidcor’s Contribution
Solidcor has spent nearly a year working with WDH to create bespoke, fire-tested door sets, including various sidelight and top light configurations. Their focus on the social housing market and understanding of the unique challenges faced by housing associations ensure quick and easy installation, keeping residents satisfied.

In response to the tragic Grenfell Tower disaster, Solidcor recognized the need for greater clarity within the fire door sector.
