Fieldway have serviced, maintained and repaired Onward’s fire assets for over 14 years, developing a long lasting relationship through added value and high levels of compliance. We have held the contract through various mergers and acquisitions, demonstrating our ability to adapt to flexible requirements. The equipment types that we maintain include fire alarms, emergency lighting, dry risers and AOV’s. We were reappointed in 2016 through a competitive tender process, continuing our sustained affiliation.
Onward Homes are one of the largest registered providers of social housing based solely in the North West of England with 35,000 homes across Merseyside, Lancashire and Greater Manchester. Through working closely with Onward to identify requirements, we dedicated a Fieldway Works Coordinator to each region, acting as the main point of contact to ensure the smooth delivery of our servicing programme. We have a pool of 10 multi-skilled engineers devoted to Onward, all cross-trained and suitably qualified to work on varying equipment types.
With many of the schemes on the contract being “Extra Care Schemes”, we have tailored our processes and procedures for Onward to ensure we are working safely within this environment. We use safeguarding flags provided to identify vulnerabilities within the schemes. Working closely with carers, we have put in place tailored support plans to meet the complex needs of individuals.
High levels of performance and customer satisfaction have been maintained throughout the contract. We have successfully delivered works to over 1060 schemes, completing 14,000 routine service inspections annually and achieving a 100% “completion on time” rate. In addition, we have managed approximately 2000 call outs per year across all regions.
