In April 2021, Fieldway were awarded the contract for service, maintenance and repair of fire protection equipment including fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, dry risers and AOVs for Johnnie Johnson Housing after a competitive tender process on the Procure Plus Framework.

Johnnie Johnson Housing is a not-for-profit housing association that is responsible for managing 5,000 homes across North West, North East, Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Their property portfolio includes houses, bungalows, flats, studio apartments and retirement schemes.

The diverse geographical spread of properties ranging from Newcastle down to Derby means we need to demonstrate our ability to deliver contracts over large areas. Through the use of our pool of multi-skilled engineers in delivery and a dedicated works coordinator to meticulously plan the servicing programme, we have in place a flexible resource to meet these demands.

During the first month of the contract we achieved 100% compliance across our servicing and maintenance work. We attended all call outs in line with contract SLAs and accomplished 100% first time fixes. Other KPIs we are currently meeting targets for include:

  • Sites completed within the scheduled schedule
  • Sites fault free from repair within the month
  • Repairs completed within the required response time
  • Overall Customer Satisfaction
  • Certificate Upload Times

On the back of completing this work, through relationship building and continued high performance, we now carry out various installation projects for Johnnie Johnson including fire alarm upgrades and domestic smoke/heat protection.
