In June 2022, Fieldway were awarded the contract for the inspection, testing and maintenance of the fire alarm, emergency lighting and refuge alarms systems across Salford Council’s property portfolio of over 100 educational and corporate buildings.
As Salford City Council were a new client we worked collaboratively to establish a mobilisation workshop to ensure that we fully understood their contract requirements and standards. Our operations team analysed their processes and procedures against our own to create partnership working documents to be followed onsite by Fieldway operatives and employees to make sure we meet or exceed the service level agreement targets and target key performance indicators expected by the client.
All Health & Safety and the associated risks are managed by H&S Manager Ellie Carden. Ellie developed a construction phase Health and Safety plan during mobilisation to ensure we met CDM2015 which included design Hazard Analysis, Risk Profiling and Dynamic Risk Assessment. This document sets out the Health and Safety arrangements and site rules taking account the activities taking place on sites and includes specific measures concerning the work.
