In June 2023, Fieldway were awarded a contract with Derby Homes to deliver servicing, maintenance and repairs of fire safety systems including fire alarms, emergency lighting and dry risers at 90 properties following a competitive tender process within the EEM Framework.
Derby Homes manage and maintain Derby City Council’s property portfolio, providing social housing to thousands of council tenants across Derby. Our successful appointment to this contract has allowed Fieldway to collaborate with Derby Homes to ensure that their tenants are housed in safe properties, with maintained detection and alert systems to protect them in emergency situations.
Accredited to BAFE, the third-party certification scheme, Fieldway have employed our years of experience and qualifications to deliver high quality services. Upon contract award our service delivery team acquired Derby Home’s anniversary dates and developed a programme for planned visits that guaranteed all fire safety equipment was serviced on time, providing Derby Home’s tenants with 24/7/365 protection under our care.
Periodically, annually, and biannually our technicians have attended all 90 properties to service, repair and maintain the following equipment:
Due to the complexities involved with working in occupied properties, we have put in place a flexible servicing schedule designed to meet the varying needs including working around out-of-hours calls and set up the necessary provisions to work safely in live environments. We tailored our access arrangements for each site by requesting all contact details during mobilisation to make these preparations at the earliest opportunity.
