Fieldway were awarded a four-year contract through the Procure Plus framework to undertake a variety of compartmentation work, fire door upgrades/maintenance and FRA actions at over 80 Johnnie Johnson Housing (JJH) properties across the UK.
Our FIRAS surveyors undertake detailed compartmentation surveys at JJH properties to ascertain compliant solutions which includes a comprehensive visual inspection of the existing fire compartmentation provisions to floors, walls, roof spaces, basements, floor and ceiling voids, risers, and shafts where present.
Upon completion of the surveys, we create a quote for the works. We match the actions and materials from the survey with a pre-agreed SOR from our Procure Plus rates to ensure JJH receive a value for money solution.
The overall works programme is overseen by our Head of Passive Fire. Each site we are working on is allocated a FIRAS supervisor who manages quality of on-site teams and ensures timely delivery. They maintain constant communication with JJH site staff whilst completing the works and report daily to our Head of Passive Fire.
We undertake various compartmentation works at JJH properties including installation of intumescent mastic, fire batt, pipe wraps, pipe collar, fire curtain and cavity barrier.
