In September 2020, through a competitive tender process Fieldway were awarded the contract for planned service, repair and maintenance of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and emergency lighting for Wirral Borough Council. This includes work at buildings such as libraries, leisure centres schools and town halls.
Due to the nature in working in public buildings, we have put in place a flexible servicing schedule designed to meet the varying needs including working around operational hours and set up the necessary provisions to work safely in live environments. We looked to tailor our access arrangements for each site by requesting all contact details during mobilisation to make these preparations at the earliest opportunity.
Wirral’s’ Compliance Team Leader Simon Parrott had the following to say regarding our performance:
“Since Fieldway Group joined Wirral Borough Council as our Fire Alarm, Intruder systems and Emergency lighting servicing contractor, they have hit the ground running. From the early start they assigned a key contact to ensure any issues are resolved quickly, which generally have been few and far between. Recently the team responded to help the council to open an unused building at a mass testing facility by installing a new wireless intruder system within 1 week. It’s been an excellent appointment and I am more than happy with the service so far.”
We have achieved 98% compliance so far across the whole contract for servicing repairs and have completed all call outs in line with contract SLAs.
